Selling of Philatelic Material through Scandinavia Philatelic Society

Members are often looking to add to their collections, If you are are a dealer or a private vendor who think you may have philatelic material which may be of interest to our members please contact either of our officers listed below, who will be able to advice you on which of the two ways of selling may be most succesful. The description below details what type of sales are carried out through our organisation.

Packet Services

We run a 'packet service' where members receive material of a philatelic nature specific to the sphere of their interest on a pass-it-on basis.

The items are sent out on a circuit and intererested collectors on the circuit will then examine the material on approval and send anything not bought on to the next recipient on the circuit.

Selling is not restricted to members.

Items sold in this section are usually single sets or parts of a collection, even single stamps.

Scandinavia Philatelic Society carries out philatelic auctions about 3 times a year.

Selling is not restricted to members.

The Auction covers all aspects of Scandinavian Philately, including literature memorabilia and postcards, subject to availability. The auction catalogue is sent out to all members and specially invited guests of the Society.

Items sold in this section are usually more rare or of higher value
